New fields added to the Product create and update files

The Product Uploader is currently in Preview status. It is in development, only available in test environments, and only available to a limited number of customers. For more information about Preview status, see Product lifecycle phases. If you would like to use the Product Uploader during the Preview phase, contact your AppDirect technical representative.

Marketplace Managers and Developers can add name, description, overview and SEO information when they create or update products in bulk using the Product Uploader.

The following new product fields were added in the update flow:

• Product Name
• Product Type
• Is an Add-on
• Allow Multiple Purchases
• Is a Referral Product
• Single or Multiple Users
• Vendor UUID
• Vendor Name
• State
• Product Description
• Product Short Description
• Link To Product Website
• Locale

Previously, they could not create or update Product Uploader files with that information. Also this information was contained in a single JSON column but now it’s available as multiple columns.

Feature enablement

This feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.

No setting configuration is required.
